It's going to be a long summer

So it turns out I can't take summer classes due to the fact that I don't have the money for it. SO everything has been pushed to the fall so financial aid will cover it. And plus, it's also going to be long because I can NOT stand the heat. Not looking forward to that.
I need to find out if Sandy and Paul want to go to the arts and crafts fair this year. Even if you don't buy anything, it's just one of those things that fun to go to and look around. Plus, sometimes they have some awesome pins! And something Angie and I both love...the fuuuuuuudge. ^_^

So nothing new has happened. The house is so quiet now, it's kind of creepy. At least he's not in pain anymore.
I've pretty much cut ties with most of our family now since we don't have to bother with them. Dad's siblings didn't give a damn about us before anyway, so we have nothing to do with them now. I don't even talk to my cousins on that side. They don't want to bother with us, why should we bother with them? Nicole still talks to me, shes from my mom's side of the family. Most of them are fine except for my grandparents. (Almost got in a fight with them over the whole gay rights thing on my Birthday lol. They think that being gay is a choice because they don't believe in most science, and that it's a crime. Oh, how they make me laugh!) It's funny that they call themselves "Christians" when all they do is hate people that are different. In fact, it seems like a lot of "Christians" are like that. That makes no sense...it's a religion based on the followings of Jesus, who loved and excepted everyone, yet all they due is judge and hate people. Hmm...and they say Progressive Christians aren't real Christians...whatever.
ANYWAY, most others on my mom's side are ok.

Sorry about that little rant, it just bothers me when people close their minds so much that they can't accept people for who they are or what they believe in. I'm sorry if I can't follow the bible word for word due to the fact that it was written by humans and corrupted by popes and kings and human beings are the most flawed creatures on Earth....Actually, no. I'm not sorry. Why should I be sorry for what I believe in?

Well anyway, if people feel like doing stuff this summer (not weekends...sorry) give me a call or email me or something. I'm free for the most part.

Hillarious British law

Most ridiculous British law:

1. It is illegal to die in the Houses of Parliament (What will they do, arrest the body?)

2. It is an act of treason to place a postage stamp bearing the British monarch upside-down

3. In Liverpool, it is illegal for a woman to be topless except as a clerk in a tropical fish store (Don't let your men into Tropical Fish stores, ladies!)

4. Mince pies cannot be eaten on Christmas Day (Damn, just what I wanted too!)

5. In Scotland, if someone knocks on your door and requires the use of your toilet, you must let them enter

6. A pregnant woman can legally relieve herself anywhere she wants, including in a policeman's helmet (When I'm pregnant, I'm going to England to pee in a cops helmet!)

7. The head of any dead whale found on the British coast automatically becomes the property of the king, and the tail of the queen (That's the kind of gift I'd want...)

8. It is illegal to avoid telling the tax man anything you do not want him to know, but legal not to tell him information you do not mind him knowing

9. It is illegal to enter the Houses of Parliament in a suit of armour

10. In the city of York it is legal to murder a Scotsman within the ancient city walls, but only if he is carrying a bow and arrow (Be careful not to carry a bow and arrow around!)

For those getting a kick out of the school-banning-hugging thing, check this out.

A SCHOOL headmaster was branded a killjoy yesterday after he ordered pupils to stop HUGGING each other.

Steven Kenning told teens to quit embracing because it made them late for lessons.

He said hugging could be deemed “inappropriate” and “victims” could be hugged against their will.

HELP! I'M BEING HUGGED AGAINST MY WILL! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Come on, there's a difference between being hugged and being attacked...and late for lessons? Wow. One of the worst excuses I ever heard. I hug all the time, and I was never late for a class in Pilgrim, here, or Aldrich.
Apparently some girl got detention for hugging. Her mother picked her up and gave her a hug right in the detention room. Even some parents are finding this rule rediculous!

Poor little puppy!

I'm convinced our new puppy was neglected.
Ah yes, not everyone knows yet! Yup, we got a new puppy. We've had her for about 2 weeks now, and she's 6 months, almost 7 months old. She's a pug (yup, another! I love them just a little too much, can you tell? ^_^)
Anyway, the girl we got her from posted this thing on the facebook marketplace, saying she was giving away her pug puppy for free. When we took her home, she was so incredibly skinny. Not just she's-a-puppy skinny, but we could almost see her ribs. Puppa seems HUGE compared to her! Also she had a scar on her eye, and I'm convinced she's half blind. She had no collar either, and also had fleas. Only a few, but Puppa caught them so we had to give both pugs flea baths, and we got flea collars for all three of the dogs. They're fine now.
The girl said that she'd send us the papers saying she had all her shots. It's been two weeks since she gave her to us and still no papers. Now we'll have to take her to have it done. Luckily my mom said she'll help with the shots, and I've saved up enough to get her spaded. That's another thing. The girl never had her spaded because her vet told her to wait until she was 8 months. No vet has ever told us that. We were told 6 months, I read 6-7 months. If you don't there will be a problem. I don't want a pug walking around the house bleeding.
I'm worried some people will say "Why the hell did you get a dog from some random person? Why didn't you go to a pro breeder or pet store?" Well those reasons are why. If that girl didn't have her spaded yet and if she didn't have her shots, it's making me believe she was neglected. The fleas, the scar on her eye. Our dogs never had fleas. Well, Sammy once from one of our neighbors dogs years ago, but other than that never. There's a reason I heard about her so quick. And I took her in. I was meant to help her.
And now she's my incredibly cuddly baby! ^_^ I love my Katie!
